In this web quest students need to know more about this interesting lesson which depends on their historical culture and if they know nothing they have to search learn conclude and then be multicultural student. In the same time they have to learn about the simple past and irregular verbs

procedures
Students are divided into six groups each group has four students and it's better to focus on distributing the roles between them in each group and they have to know that they work as a group so they have rights and duties towards each other to work as one unite. The students should search in the given sources and they can use their book to get what they need to do and know. Students should be encouraged to discuss and exchange the roles working in the team spirit without selfishness and they should be careful to finish their task in the definite time. After that  students save their work in word , power point or front page  files so each group can show its work to the others  explain , discuss and answer their friends' questions and then ask comprehension questions

group 1
by using the sources and their book, students have to look for information about how was life in Cordoba including the population, the public buildings and schools and they have to choose the suitable tense to write and speak (Past simple) tense

group 2
this group has to find something about agriculture in Spain at that time and kinds of plants they have taken from the Arab. Of course they have their own source and their book they have to use the past simple tense

group 3 
This group has to find out information about music and musical instrument which were used in Spain at that time

Here they have to speak about arts and they have to use the past simple tense. The suitable source is given

This group has to speak about Science and Astronomy in Spain at that period they have to use the past simple tense. Of course they have their own source and their book

This group is going to find out information about mathematics and medicine in Spain at that time. they have to use the past simple their source is given and their book is  with them
